Dreamy Engagements at the Glamis Sand Dunes

White Lace Dresses and Dreamy Sunsets Set Upon Golden Sands As Far As The Eye Can See

In one sentence if I had to summarize how I met Lauren, I would say, “Every day I thank the Instagram Explore Page for recommending me to you.” Seriously! Instagram thought I would love to see her proposal photos, and guess what - THEY WEREN’T WRONG. She looked so happy in her proposal photos, standing on the edge of a cliff holding her FIANCE with all the bling adorned on her ring finger. I had to double tap her photo and share in the love. And the rest is history.

I recommended the (Imperial) Glamis Sand Dunes near the California/Mexico border to Lauren because they are so stunning and also the best time to visit them in the winter! With cooler temperatures, you won’t die of heat stroke climbing up the dunes or melt into a puddle under the summer sun. Instead, at their engagement shoot I basically just became a puddle screaming over how amazing these two humans were. I also had the incredible joy and honor to take some A+ quality iPhone video for Lauren that she is going to make into a home movie to project at their wedding (watch out world, future videographer coming your way). I can’t wait to wait it at their wedding next May!

Their engagement photos were absolutely lovely, because they are such lovely people! They both laughed and smiled and chased each other through the sand. Lauren let the wind rustle her sheer white dress as Nate guided her across each dune. As the sun lowered in the sky, the both of them cozied up closer amidst the golden sands that went on as far as the eye could see.
