Etienne Estate: Pasadena’s newest location for photos

The newest high end venue in Pasadena, California - Etienne Estate just opened its gates to it’s beautiful grounds. If this gorgeous french villa location looks familiar, it is probably because you recognize it from when its previous owner, Erica Jayne (wife of Thomas Girardi) owned the home and it was featured on the sixth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on television. This recognizable backdrop has since changed owners and is now known as “Etienne Estate,” a beautiful location perfect for couples to capture photos for the special moment’s in their lives.

Michelle and JT, a Los Angeles couple, captured these editorial style engagement photos at Etienne Estate in early May. In keeping in line with the luxury style of the venue, but also the playful, European garden style of the grounds, this couple wore three different outfits for their shoot. Their outfits were styled by Sam Ruiz, from It’s Giving Bridal, who created three very different looks: the first, a classic European holiday look with a white sundress and Ralph Lauren inspired men’s look; the second, a casual silhouette of jeans and a blue satin two piece set; and third, a formal black tie styled look with a black gown and men’s gucci suit. All three looks were complimented with various jewelry pieces made by Gabriela Artigas. My personal favorite piece was the stackable two stone engagement ring with a dome band, that could be paired with a second ring to fit in the middle - why have one diamond on your ring when you can have at least three statement stones?

Etienne Estate is a beautiful private venue in Pasadena, a suburb of Los Angeles, perfect for shoots of all kinds. I love this editorial style engagement shoot because it showcases just a few of the main areas you can capture photos on site. Etienne Estate would be the perfect spot for you to take your photos if you want somewhere that feels upscale, private, and somewhere that hasn’t been done before (since it is so new). Etienne Estate in Pasadena is on par with some of the other incredible venues in the Los Angeles area with similar features, like: Huntington Library, Villa Del Sol D’Oro, and Greystone Mansion.
