Camping Themed Engagement Photos with a VW Bus in Idaho's Sawtooth Mountains

A VW Honey Bus, Matching Patagonia Sweaters, and a Spotted Aussie Collie in the Sawtooth Mountains

In fall of 2021, I met Saylor, Daniel, and their Australian Shepherd Collie mix pup named Apollo, in the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho! Close to Stanley, Idaho, we ventured to spots both between the tall trees and off the side of the road leading to wide open meadows with the stunning Sawtooth Mountains in the background view. The three of them, Saylor, Daniel, and Apollo, ventured to the Sawtooth Mountains in their yellow-orange VW bus. Their bus is known as the Honey Bus, which they actually rent out for photo shoot mini sessions near their locale! They drove out in their VW bus to the Idaho mountains to camp and be captured amongst the mountains with their pup and bus! Their session included re-enacting the Dirty Dancing lift on the roof of their VW bus, enjoying PB&J sandwiches to be shared with Apollo, running through meadows towards the mountains, and twinning in their matching Patagonia fleece sweaters!

This was such a fun session for me because we got to take our time together participating in fun camp activities and admiring the mountains and trees, as well as petting their oh so cute Aussie Collie, Apollo, as often as is humanly possible! I loved the camp theme of the day, capturing these mountain engagement photos for Saylor and Daniel in the stunning Sawtooth Mountains wilderness landscape!
